What you will do
In the position of Commissioning Engineer, you will work on highly innovative projects in which the energy transition plays a central role. The activities are focused on the commissioning of the systems designed by Electrauvision. These include all-electric systems, parallel hybrid, series hybrid and diesel-electric power trains. These systems are mainly found in the marine sector and heavy duty machinery. This occurs at both national and international level.
You are prepared to travel to customers, where you provide service to the systems and carry out troubleshooting analysis. Good communication and a professional attitude are important in order to set clear expectations.
As Commissioning Engineer, you have knowledge of modern electrical engineering, electrification of drive and control systems, energy management and you have an affinity with the software of systems.
You keep learning every day in this interesting area of expertise. That is what makes this job so challenging.
What you excel at
- (pre) Commissioning of electric drive systems both in the test field and on-site
- Commissioning drive systems of vessels or hybrid vehicles
- Providing service to these systems and performing troubleshooting analysis
- Ensuring good cooperation between multiple parties
What you also have
- Ambition to learn every day in this interesting area of expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/Mechatronics or an MBO education with experience
- Affinity with shipping or vehicle technology is a plus
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to travel ( national and international)
